Harry was recognized for performing at Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, France, and Russia. People recognized him now for his amazing tricks. Harry Houdini was born in Budapest, Hungary on March 24, 1874. He did tricks no one had ever done before. Many people think of him as hero because he was a genius at deception and escape.
